Difficulty Installing Applications

I recently did a system restore on my computer making all of my AIR applications unusable. I have uninstalled and reinstalled all of the applications, including AIR itself. While I'm able to reinstall AIR, whenever I attempt to install an application, I get the following message--

The application could not be installed because the AIR file is damaged. Try obtaining a new AIR file from the application author.

Any help or suggestions?
